CALL FOR SEMINARS:

The 7th IEEE International Conference on Mobile Data Management invites proposals for seminars. Both single-session (1.5 hour) and double-session (3 hour) proposals are invited.

MDM'06 accepts research submissions on all topics related to mobile data management, including but not limited to those listed below:

- Management of mobile objects
- Data management in mobile ad hoc networks
- Data aggregation, management and dissemination in sensor networks
- Location-based services and context-aware computing
- Query processing in mobile and sensor networks
- Mobile contents issues
- Advanced mobile applications
- Power aware mobile systems

Seminar proposals must include the following information:

- title
- abstract
- outline
- description of the target audience
- duration (1.5 or 3 hours)
- short biography of the presenter(s)
- contact information for presenter(s)( name, address, phone/fax number and e-mail address)

Please submit your proposals by November 1, 2005. Submissions shouldbe sent via electronic mail to mdm06-seminar@kde.cs.tsukuba.ac.jp.

Seminar proposers will be notified regarding the outcome of theselection process by January 19, 2006. For accepted proposals,proposers should be aware that the seminar slides will be madeavailable to the MDM participants, either in hardcopy form or on-line.
